Q. I want to have a Beach Wedding. I'm not sure where to get started.

A. The first thing we recommend is to pick a location. You can best get started if you pick not only where (the country or city) but the hotel. It may help to think about whether you would like an all inclusive hotel or not. First, you will want to consider the time of year you are thinking about for your wedding. The weather in Ocean City, Dewey, Bethany Beach, Rehoboth, and Lewis are different at different times of the year and very different from each other. Secondly, in choosing the hotel you should consider the following:
• How much do you want to spend and expect guests to spend on accommodations?

• How far are you willing to travel or expect guests to travel?
• How much control do you want over the details of your wedding?

Q. Are the Beaches private?

A. The answer is NO! All beaches in Ocean City are public. We are always able to find a spot to set up for the wedding, right at the edge of the ocean. And everyone who is already at the beach is always very respectful. If they feel they are too close, they will move away. However, everyone loves a wedding and they will watch and they will clap when you kiss! The busiest months are May, June, July, August, and September.

Q. When is the best time to have a Ocean City beach wedding?

A. It’s always good when you set your date that you start to book your services, as there might be someone else wanting to book your same day. Especially if it’s a Saturday, there only 52 Saturdays in a year and approx 22 Saturdays in the summer months, May - September

Q. What is the best beach in Ocean City?

A. There are many BEAUTIFUL public beaches in Ocean City Beach.
~ The boardwalk beaches are great, and allow for some great photos on the boardwalk but are often the most crowded. 
~ The inlet beach is really beautiful around sunset, it allows for easy parking, and awesome photo spots. 
~ The North End beaches in Ocean City are often the less crowded, and having it in front of the many hotels allows for a good back up plan incase it rains. 
~ Assateague Beaches are really nice and if you're lucky, one of the ponies might make an appearance.  Please keep in mind that parking fees will apply to you and your guests.

Q. Can I have an arch & chairs?

A. Yes, you can have an archway and chairs. We do offer a variety of different options for beach set ups.  Our fabulous beach setups turn an ordinary beach wedding into a spectacular memorable moment in time.

Q. Are there other beaches where I can have a wedding?

A. What about Assateague state park in west Ocean City with the ponies,
Bethany Beach right near the boardwalk which has very nice restaurants,
Dewey Beach famous for the party scene and great beaches,
Rehoboth Beach right near the boardwalk which also has a lot of great photo spots,
Cape Henlopen State Park makes for a really awesome sunset wedding with the lighthouse in the back ground.

Q. Should I do a sunset wedding or sunrise beach wedding?

A. Sunrise weddings can be very beautiful but depending on your guests and how many, you might be sure to miss the sunrise due to the fact you have to get up so early to get ready and prepare. Someone always sleeps in or someone always can’t be ready on time. A sunset wedding is often more fun, as you’ve had the whole day to prepare for it, and after the ceremony you are able to get some fantastic photos, and afterwards its always easy to go to evening dinner, reception or nightclub.

Q. Is a Destination Beach Wedding really less expensive?

A. The answer can be yes or no depending on some of the decisions you make. If you have fewer people attend then you end up paying for fewer guests. Many all inclusive hotels offer package deals which can cost you less (but also limit your choices). If you end up with a lot of guests or pay for guests hotel accommodations or some excursions during their stay, you may spend just as much if not more than a traditional wedding. Most beach weddings cost between 5K and 15K including your travel.

Q. How can I check your availability and reserve the date?

A. To reserve your date and time on our calendar and book your wedding, we require a retainer of one-half of the total amount for our services that you will be invoiced. Q. When is the best time of day to have a beach wedding?

A. During the summertime, we highly recommend against afternoon weddings (12 noon to 4pm) - 3 pm is the hottest part of the day - and dehydration and heat stroke can occur. Spring time, Summertime (morning and evenings), September - November area nice months.
